For those of you that were lucky enough to get a nice new shiny camera for Christmas here are a few tips to help you on your way.
1. Batteries make sure your battery is fully charged, better still invest in a spare one. 2. Memory cards, format the card as this gets rid of all data from previous shots and helps stop corruption of the card deleting images does not! 3. After a shoot don't forget to reset your camera to your basic settings. There's nothing worse than going out spending a few hours taking some shots and finding your ISO settings or contrast and brightness were set to high or low. 4. You have an expensive camera don't waste your money on a cheap tripod, it won't last long, it won't give you the stability you need to take sharp shots. It's worth spending out to get a good quality tripod they do last years and will give plenty of service. Most importantly help to give you sharp photos. Remember If you don't have a tripod have a quick look around walls, fences and trees all give very good supports which can help to steady your shots. |
