FAKE JOB OFFERS: 2
Well this is the season of good will. I don't think so spam e-mail arrives daily and the seasons don't matter. What does matter is you don't fall for them. How can you spot a spoof e-mail it's not hard 1. Look at the from e-mail if it comes from say Amazon it should contain Amazon somewhere look at the example below This does not contain Amazon so it's not from them. Below is a good example The image above shows Amazon in part of the e-mail and did indeed come from amazon.
The body of the e-mail contained what is shown below It was a picture with HTML imbedded into parts. What that means is where it want you to click View Amazon Jobs is not what it seems. When you hovered over the view amazon jobs image the URL I have highlighted, this is the page it would take you. Notice it does not contain anything about Amazon just a heap of numbers and letters, this is so the hackers can identify you well OK just your e-mail at this time. If you were to click the link it would most likey take you to apage where it would ask for you detail Name, Address etc.. oh yes and of course you bank detail because how would the beable to pay you if you didn't give these detail? Whit these details they could do all manner of things like take out loans get credit cards etc.. These people are not targetting YOU but a whole lot of e-mail addresses, once you give then the details then it is YOU that they will try to con, you e-mail will be placed on a list and sold saying these people clicked the link of a spam e-mail so they now know the e-mail works and is not a fake e-mail address that some people have when the respond to on line ads. Please stay safe, if in doubt don't click that link go to the website and see for yourself if the offer is genuine or not. Hope this helps leave a comment if it's helped, spread the word.
