Free Nikon ViewNX 2 software

Nikon's image browsing and editing software with improved editing and printing functions for still images and movies

TOKYO – Nikon Corporation is pleased to announce that ViewNX 2 is available for free download from the following Nikon website. ViewNX 2 is the comprehensive new version of Nikon's image browsing and editing software, ViewNX, offering improved functions and greater collaboration with Nikon's image storage and sharing service, my Picturetown.

This all-in-one browsing/editing software package supplied with Nikon digital cameras will let more photographers fully enjoy digital images, more easily.
Greater collaboration with my Picturetown, Nikon's image storage and sharing service never really caught on it closed down in January this year (2013). It has now been replaced with Nikon Image Space, bring a better look and overall feel of the site. Normally you get 2gb of space however if you can prove you are a Nikon owner you can upgrade to a “special” account which gives you 20 gb of storage plus other features.

The differences between the BASIC ACCOUNT and the SPECIAL ACCOUNT are shown below.
