   BBC TV Countryfile program has today announced it's 2013 photographic competition.

This years theme is British landscape and wildlife, plant life. 

This competition has three stages to the judging,

Stage 1. Panel of judges choose a selection on entries from those entered. Judges are previous winners or finalists from previous years.

Stage 2. Second panel of judges review the stage one chosen images and narrow this down to 12 entries.

Stage 3. This is a public vote, where viewers can vote for the image they want to win.

Prizes
The person who takes the winning photo gets to choose from a range of 
the latest photography equipment to the value of £1,000. The person who 
takes the photo the judges like best gets to choose equipment to the 
value of £500.
