In celebration of the South Downs, the RSPB are launching their first RSPB
South Downs Futurescape Photo Contest, raising funds to give nature a
home in this special place. We want to see your photos capturing the
amazing landscapes and wildlife found in and around the South Downs, and
your enjoyment of them!
Competition categories:
- Landscapes
- Wildlife
- ‘Urban’ wildlife
- Families enjoying the South Downs
You can enter a maximum of three photos, but these can be in any category
This competition is a celebration of the South Downs Futurescape. It
is open to everyone living anywhere in the UK but must be of South Downs
imagery.Once you’ve submitted your photo(s), we’ll send you a link to
our JustGiving page where you can donate towards our work giving nature a
home in the South Downs.
Our competition judges include David Plummer (local and international
wildlife photographer) and John Dominick (local landscape photographer)
and a third guest judge. Contest Prize & TERMS- The winner of each category will receive an unframed print of their work
- The winning photos and runners up will be exhibited at the RSPB’s Pulborough Brooks nature reserve
- All submissions will be posted and available for viewing on the RSPB South Downs Futurescape http://www.flickr.com/photos/rspbsouthdowns/ - Flickr photo gallery .
- The winner of each category will receive a campsite pitch for a one or two night mid-week stay at http://www.thesecretcampsite.co.uk/ - The Secret Campsite . The night(s) may be any time Sunday through Thursday (during the 2014 open season) and not during the school holidays.
